Network Engineer Specialist (Outside Plant) - Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
This role will provide direct analytical support to the OSP Cut Section Director and leadership team.  They will assist and help project manage the FTTH Cut Section functions as their primary role, as well as track and report on all cut section metrics for the footprint.    Significant emphasis is placed on accurate reporting and spreadsheet management for pre-posting and release for sale FTTH projects and FTTH addresses.   It will require tracking the of the life cycle of engineering projects through the engineering design and construction process including release for sale, maintaining status records and timely updates to Sales and Marketing.   This position will be dedicated to these duties in addition to supporting the Director with daily email escalations and quality audit reviews for all cut section functions, as well as other program performance metrics.
Key Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of work experience related to project mgmt. or business mgmt. - Telecommunication / Engineering experience is a plus
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point – highly proficient in EXCEL
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, planning and analytical skills – able to multitask is a must skill set
• Excellent time and experienced project management skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly growing fast paced environment performing multiple tasks concurrently
• Ability to analyze data and present in various formats while identifying gaps and compliance issues
• Demonstrate success to work across organization boundaries
• Strong leadership skills to include influencing skills and significant leadership experience
