We are building our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business and looking for an IT Sr. Director to own our roadmap to implement the technologies to make this happen. We are post discovery phase working closely with a major partner and this individual will own the end to end implementation. This includes implementing Salesforce and all the API integrations with multiple other technologies in our roadmap.
You will work closely with our consulting partner and all 3rd party vendors, managing this from end to end. It would be wonderful if you had Salesforce, more importantly is that you have strong project management skills, working in an Agile environment and have experience working on enterprise technology implementation and adoption (literally owning it end to end.)
The Direct-to-Consumer Technology leader will be responsible for owning the short-and-long term vision for the Direct-to-Consumer Technology Architecture and Roadmap, working closely with key Product Owners and Stakeholders across Marketing and the Contact Center. This role will be responsible for managing multiple, complex systems implementations as the organization looks to stand up the technology stack. This role will be a key SME in ensuring that business teams are able to further optimize the technologies purchased.
What You Will Be Doing - Ensures alignment between the Direct-to-Consumer technology architecture / roadmap and the overall enterprise reference architecture / strategy through partnership with enterprise technology leaders / SME's
- Responsible for partnering with Product Owners across D2C Marketing and Contact Center Teams in order to drive prioritization against the Direct-to-Consumer technology roadmap:
----   Intake key business / functional requirements and supports key business stakeholders in estimating / forecasting cost of implementation / difficulty of execution in order to drive prioritization
---- Translate key roadmap items into into key objectives for vendors (e.g., systems implementors / consultants) and internal development teams
---- Guide detailed project planning and sequencing to balance short-and-long term priorities
---- Balances focus on mitigating technical debt while also driving new feature enhancements
- Leverages strong agile/project management skillsets in order to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with pre-identified acceptance criteria
---- Owns budgets, forecasts, and timelines across both external and internal builds related to D2C
---- Owns and communicates sprint delivery dates to Product Owner and relevant stakeholders, with a good understanding of the technical development status to escalate delays early
---- Build an effective working partnership with internal and external development resources to lead team to success
---- Facilitate sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and any other scrum sessions
---- Manage dependencies and facilitate collaboration with external teams during sprint execution to effectively mitigate risks, track and resolve blockers from the development team
---- Facilitate Product Owner sign-off and coordinate production releases with development teams
What You Need for this Position - Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
- 10+ Years of working experience, preferably within Marketing Technologies and/or Contact Center Technologies
- Experience launching marketing technologies and/or contact center technologies in a "greenfield" or "startup" environment OR Enterprise level end-to-end implementation experience
- Strong experience in agile software development project management or a similar role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills
- Expertise with SDLC process, with a focus in resource allocation, deployment management and cadence, and working with third-party vendors alongside in-house development teams
- Experience implementing Salesforce with integration to other systems highly desired
- Strong experience managing 3rd party vendors and partners
