The Applied Intelligence Platform+ (AIP+) Performance & DevOps Lead is responsible for providing oversight and driving the development and scale out to several key value-added services:
+ Performance Engineering - Benchmarking and performance tuning products, platforms, and frameworks at scale in the Cloud as well as driving revenue growth
+ Deep Monitoring & Prediction scaling the deep monitoring and prediction capabilities (skills and functionality) across AWS, Azure, GCP and Alicoud
+ DevOps & ModelOps Helping to scale out DevOps and ModelOps services
+ Data Governance - Driving enhancements for data privacy capabilities and enhancements (GDPR, CCPA)
Individuals should demonstrate the consulting skills to interface with clients (internally and externally) to understand the business requirements and then translate those requirements to development teams for capability build out. Individuals should also have an experience in publishing white papers, representing and speaking during conferences, and creating patentable assets.
Responsibilities
+ Supports AIP+ overall client value creation story.
+ Partner with regional leads, Center of Excellence (COE) and Platform Advisory & Implementation Services (PAIS) on Go-to-Market opportunities to drive revenue growth for the value-added service to hit targets.
+ Supports end to end proposal authoring in close alignment with Solution Architect and Technical Solution Architect and the Sales team.
+ Benchmark Defense: Lead/support client/account teams through a Third Party Advisor (TPA) benchmark of software and cloud native products.
+ Lead the performance engineering practice for AI & analytics platforms built.
+ Continuously analyze, research, and build/enhance value added services with microservices framework.
+ Bring the latest tool and techniques to increase efficiency at scale.
+ Incorporate intelligent automation in every service designed for value added services, partnering with platform engineering and global architecture.
+ Key member of the sales pursuit team, working with to develop a fit for purpose solution that is winnable and deliverable.
+ Principal or Master Architect in the performance engineering domain in the Cloud and Big Data space.
+ Collaborate with clients and client teams through the sales process and to deploy innovative solutions to help solve client challenges.
Heres what you need:
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience as a performance architect (software & hardware) in building products, platforms, and frameworks at scale in the cloud and big data domain
+ Experience managing a global team of performance engineers
+ Minimum of 5 years technical experience in distributed computing (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, NoSQL), performance engineering benchmarking (TPC, Big Data Toolkits), capacity planning and forecasting, real-time and batch processing, and infrastructure as a code
+ Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Aliyun, encompassing IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services, NoSQL DBs (Graph, Cassandra, Mongo), machine learning (R), visual analytics (Qlikview, Tableau), ETL (Talend, Informatica), Hadoop (Apache Spark, Cloudera), streaming (Apache Kafka), container orchestration (DCOS, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaegar)
+ Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with microservices architecture and API based development and deployment
Bonus points if:
+ Masters degree in Computer Science
+ Strong technical experience in building performance benchmarking SDKs / frameworks and services on cloud & AI platforms
+ Strong technical skills in building out data privacy solutions in support of GDPR and CCPA
+ Strong technical skills in devops and modelops frameworks
+ Strong technical skills in deep monitoring across the cloud providers as well as leveraging ML for prediction
+ Published international white papers and at least one patent filed or granted in the Performance Engineering domain
+ Industry standard certifications (e.g. ToGaF)
+ 15+ years of experience as Principal or Master architect
