The Opportunity
Delaware North is hiring a Regional IT Director to support our units and locations in the Florida region. This newly created role is designed to support our IT operating model and build the capabilities required to design and optimally build-out information networks, systems, applications, and customer support. Key focus areas as a Regional IT Director include implementing and enforcing standards, consulting with regional business leaders to solve business problems, leveraging enterprise solutions, and maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas. You will be accountable for ensuring enterprise initiatives are implemented with quality and consistency within the Florida region and people resources are deployed efficiently and effectively across the region while growing career opportunities for associates.
This role will require travel to the operating units within the assigned region. We are also open to candidates within Florida strategically located near other Delaware North operations, and able to travel as required.
Responsibilities
• Devise and implement the strategic plan related to the stable, secure, and cost-effective functioning of the technology operations within the region.
• Consults with business leaders (vice presidents and general managers) and effectively influences and produces short-and-long-term projects designed to meet business requirements for operations functionality, performance, availability, cost, and business continuity needs while taking into account business direction and growth strategies.
• Demonstrates ability to lead initiatives in planning, developing, and executing business process re-engineering, architecture, business cases, development, analytics, contract management, financial management, and resource management.
• Leads a diverse IT team by effectively communicating job expectations, assembling and coordinating project team members, assigning individual responsibilities, planning, monitoring, measuring, and appraising job results to measurable goals and detect potential performance problems and provide feedback for corrective action.
• Develops proposed budgets and manages operational costs, conducts near and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
• Establishes and maintains regular written and in-person communications with leaders, stakeholders, and end-users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information management, computer science, computer systems engineering, business administration, mathematics, or a related field.
• 10+ years’ management experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of related experience in the implementation, management, and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems including cloud architectures, server technologies, and communication technologies, LANs, WANs, telephone, voice, video, and data communication systems.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences
• Travel as needed to ensure client requirements and team needs are met.
