We have an immediate contract opportunity (fully remote) for a .NET Developers.
The successful candidate will be working on client’s e-Commerce platform applications/site – and be building out a virtual ecommerce store for their customers (resellers) first to demo and then will be launching fully into the cloud (Azure/DevOps) for production. Building out a new team for API/ASP.net (.NET Core) C# development.  You will also be doing basic work with Cloud (working with containerization with Docker if possible but have DevOps team that can help with a lot of this as needed)
Basic full-stack work (minimal outside of the API-layer)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with C#, .Net, ASP. Net core as their primary language. Client has been rewriting API’s through their legacy backend. MVC will be a new platform to help drive business into the future. Now they needing to take their REST API’s (JSon) and bring them to the digital foundation. They are trying to show case their API’s and build ecommerce store which will show it is fully cable to integration all interfaces needed.
They also want to start using containerization with Azure and continue to implement heavy Microservice development. They currently use swagger which is incorporated into all the API’s. They want to take it and consume it within a getaway which provides a “nice view” for external customers who are integrating with their systems.
They have a separate DevOps team so this Developer will not need to know a lot of Cloud knowledge just have a basic understanding of Azure. This position will not require much needed with specific databases either. This Developer’s primary focus is to help connect/ integrate with API’s
Required Skills: ASP.Net Core (Microservices & C#) REST APIs (Swagger preferred) Cloud knowledge (Azure highly preferred - will be using w/ containerization)
