About the Mission You Will Join:
The Air Force is seeking to enhance their data analytics capabilities, and the VMD team, in conjunction with our teaming partners, will develop and implement a data analytics solution that integrates, analyzes, and visualizes human resource and organizational information from multiple data sources. This system will also need to maintain interoperability certification and information assurance accreditation. We will provide the technical support required to sustain the fielded solution, which will be capable of performing analytics and integrating with both current and future semi-structured and structured datasets.
Your Impact to the Mission:
As a Cloud Security Architect on our team, you have the chance to develop and maintain complex technologies to support the USAF. Your technical expertise will be vital as you develop and modernize a variety of systems and data sources. You'll increase your skills as a Cloud Security Architect while gaining experience in defense, grow your skills by merging cloud security architecture development, systems engineering and integration to ensure system integrity. The Cloud Security Architect will:
• Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to comply with information assurance (IA) and security requirements.
• Interface with the user community to comprehend their security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them.
• Ensure the user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security, domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
• Conduct an accurate evaluation of an environment's security posture to obtain/maintain an ATO.
• Support the governance, reporting, and reduction of information security risks through the implementation of programs to address Cybersecurity risk management. Support contractual and governance requirements.
Experience Needed to Be Successful:
• 3-10 years of experience in a Cybersecurity role
• 3-10 years of experience with the DoD RMF accreditation processes
• 3-10 years of experience with implementing and maintaining security controls across server-based environments.
• 3-10 years of experience with managing, interpreting, and using vulnerability scanning tools
• Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, NIST 800 series, HBSS, ACAS, AWS, Azure, eMASS, and XACTA
• Knowledge of information security, including systems and network security
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
• Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance strategies and tools
• Active TS clearance
• BA or BS degree
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Cyber security/IA experience (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM)
• Experience with enterprise computing and application services
Basic Qualifiers:
Education Requirement : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree? No

Desired Certification(s): Security+ Certification
Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 3
Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field: 3
Minimum Clearance to Start: Active TS/SCI clearance
