Summary
We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Lumper. You will unload packages, materials, and pallets from arriving trucks and prepare all items for distribution and storage in our warehouse. This is a physically demanding position, and you need a keen eye for detail and a self-starting personality. Our ideal candidate has prior warehouse or loading experience, experience as a forklift or pallet jack driver, and packing and trucking experience. You must be able to stand, lift heavy items, and crouch for several hours a day.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Receive, unload, and distribute pallets of goods to the appropriate area of the warehouse
• Operate a motorized pallet jack
• Maintain a safe and organized loading area
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines
Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Pallet jack or forklift experience and certification (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret unloading instruction and order manifests
• Flexible schedule
