Job Description
The Regulatory Product Analyst is a creative problem solver that works with Product Managers to deliver products that support our Clients’ regulatory compliance. They’re an integral part of the Product Management function and will be adept at working across various parts of the organization. The Regulatory Product Analyst primary responsibility is to ensure that software is compliant with all MIPS requirements and meets high quality standards, serve as a MIPS subject matter expert, and provide high quality MIPS education within and outside of the Nextech organization.
Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:
• Conduct user and regulatory industry research to gain insight into specific user pain points, including:
• competitive analysis
• regulatory changes and broader industry developments that may impact the product/s they’re responsible for.
• Develop user content and documentation, which will include user guides, content for In-app help tools, release notes, FAQ’s, video guides and user notifications
• Investigate and triage escalated support cases
• Support Product Managers in regulatory product backlog grooming, including categorization and prioritization of these backlog items in Jira
• Respond to User posts in the Community Portal
• Work together with our support department, software development teams, and account management to solve user escalated regulatory issues
• Participate in relevant meetings and be an active contributor to these meetings.
• Work closely with Product Managers to write stories and fully understand regulatory requirements
• Support the Go-to-market efforts
• Support each platform’s certification / re-certification efforts
• Responsible for other administrative, compliance, and regulatory responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• 1 year experience working in related job role
• Experience working in a medical specialty practice (in related specialty)
• Subject Matter Expertise required {EMR/EHR, RCM, PM, MIPS}
• Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detailed oriented
• Strong communication skills (written and oral). Independent and self-motivated.
• Ability to work with customers at all levels
• Effective knowledge of PC software (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS Project, etc.)
Preferred Experience working in Healthcare:
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams.
• Experience writing content for package software applications.
• Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) both in-person and remote.
• Experience in prioritizing and understanding the lifecycle of documentation from pre-release through on-going maintenance.

Working Environment:
• General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
• Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 10% travel.
• Periods of stress may occur.
Physical Demands:
• Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
