Your Impact to the Mission:
As a Sr. Software Developer on our team, you have the chance to develop and maintain complex technology to support the USAF. Your technical expertise will be vital as you develop and modernize a variety of systems and data sources. You’ll increase your skills in as a full stack developer while gaining experience in defense, grow your skills by merging software development, systems engineering and integration to ensure system integrity. The Sr. Software Developer will:
• Work with the customer to gather requirements.
• Provide input for the design and user interface of the system.
• Lead the development of the system leveraging a variety of technologies including C#, Java, Entity Framework, HTML/5, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, and git.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior members of the development team.
Experience Needed to Be Successful:
• 10+ years’ experience with an object-oriented programming language, including C#, Java, or Python Experience
• 10+ years’ experience with SQL Server or another relational database, and experience with NoSql database solutions
• 10+ years’ worth of knowledge of software development and object-oriented programming concepts
• Knowledge of full stack development processes including DevSecOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
• Active TS clearance
• BA or BS degree
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience with enterprise computing and application services
• Knowledge of client and server-side web technologies and protocols.
Basic Qualifiers:
Education Requirement : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

About the Mission You Will Join:
The Air Force is seeking to enhance their data analytics capabilities, and the VMD team, in conjunction with our teaming partners, will develop and implement a data analytics solution that integrates, analyzes, and visualizes human resource and organizational information from multiple data sources. This system will also need to maintain interoperability certification and information assurance accreditation. We will provide the technical support required to sustain the fielded solution, which will be capable of performing analytics and integrating with both current and future semi-structured and structured datasets.
