One of our top clients has an exciting project and immediate need for a Java Developer. This professional will be a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. We embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning.
Job Requirements
Must haves (ideally top 3 things):
1. Full Stack Java with Microservices, AWS more than Azure, they will probably stay more in AWS, they won't put into the group. CIB more AWS, CCB is more Azure.
2. Some way of demonstrating that they have run something at scale. They need to have that volume experience to demonstrate their expertise.
3.They are fully converted to agile methods. Two Week sprints. They stake stories end to end. UAT is done with another team either onshore and offshore.
Issue is sending lots of architects and not hands on leads.
4. 6-9 people per pod. Everything is in JIRA. They must be cross-functional. They would like a willingness to learn about the industry.
5. The applications they are working on are for wholesale payment processing. 1/4 global payments.
