Job Description Title : Sr. SQL Developer (Remote)
Location : Tampa, FL ( 100% Remote, seeking someone who is willing to go onsite from time to time for meetings etc. but do not happen very often)
Type: Contract to Perm (6 Months to conversion)
Looking for a solid Sr. SQL database developer that has strengths in    T-SQL.
Knows how indexes work and considers it a strength
Build SQL Queries that work
Have the ability to read and execution plan and know what to do with it
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Expert of T-SQL queries
Expertise in SQL tuning, optimization and data modeling.
Strong attention to detail
Position Summary:
This is a senior level database development position.
The role will be responsible for designing databases, stored procedures, build strong queries while ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.  Work  with other developers to build, optimize, and support applications, reports, and ETL processes.
Essential Job Functions:
Write and optimize SQL queries
Write and optimize T-SQL stored procedures and functions
Developing requirements (business, user and software requirements - functional and non-functional)
Interacting with users (business domain) while developing solutions
Ensuring the requirements are communicated in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested.
Responsible for utilizing change control, version control and change management procedures Have the ability to read and execution plan and know what to do with it Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Expert of T-SQL queries Expertise in SQL tuning, optimization and data modeling.
