The Opportunity:
As our MuleSoft Team Leader you will manage a team that operates the Center for Enablement and delivers API development and support. You will align team actions with business and information technology goals to deliver meaningful results, develop employee career growth through coaching and stretch assignments, enforce API management and security procedures, monitor team workflow, and facilitate prioritization, communication, and problem solving. The Application Engineering team provides the backbone systems that enable many information technology groups to perform their jobs, gain insight into their own processes, and solve the problems they encounter while achieving their goals. Balancing the short term needs of development teams and projects with the long term needs of the enterprise is critical to being a successful MuleSoft Team Leader. The Day-to-Day:
• Set and execute an application integration strategy with a focus on enhancing end user experience through self-service solutions, speed of delivery, and high quality results
• Prioritization of work requests to meet business desires and needs by assigning staff and overseeing delivery
• Lead the implementation of technical solutions focused on providing APIs to the information technology groups within Fisher Investments
• Drive process maturity around MuleSoft development and support processes
• Define key metrics and KPIs demonstrating efficient and effective utilization and consumption of enterprise application integration tools and services
• Reduce risk to the organization by implementing governance and security controls within the Center for Enablement (C4E) in partnership with the Information Security and Enterprise Risk teams
• Manage the team, including hiring, training and development, reviews, and terminations of a team of up to 10 architects, developers, and other staff
Your Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with application integration, APIs, and related technologies
• 3+ years demonstrable experience with MuleSoft, including CloudHub, on-premise deployments, and AnyPointMQ
• 7+ years of overall information technology experience
• 3+ years of Agile/Scrum experience
• Demonstrated experience in driving technology innovation, developing and executing technology roadmaps, and delivering measurable improvements
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from strategy to development, deployment, and support
