This position is for a mid-level systems administration on both Linux and Microsoft based workstations and servers in both virtual and physical environments.  The candidate will for perform system analysis on complex and emergent behavior systems that directly impact the operational user; identify and resolve issues that affect the operational users; support the analysis of the physical and virtual architectures onsite and relentlessly improve system efficiency and effectiveness. The candidate will translate user requirements into system and operational architectures/requirements. The candidate must be able understand and support the customer’s network designs, configuration, system maintenance, system installation, and troubleshooting of web-based applications and their individual components in accordance with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF). The candidate will be expected to understand and integrate hardware and software technologies, poses the ability to think critically, solve problems, and engineer solutions across multiple technologies.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.

Required Skills:
Bachelor’s in technology related discipline or equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
4-6 years’ experience with operational system maintenance and troubleshooting
4-6 years’ experience with Linux Operating Systems maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience in maintaining virtual environments
Candidate must have a current TS/SCI clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Familiar with Docker, VMware, Rancher, Mongo, PostgreSQL, technologies and software.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Software development methodology
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with a wide variety of open source, service-oriented, enterprise frameworks and utilities
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
