The Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Operations and Technology Organizational Program Management Office (OPMO), has visibility into the full book of work across ICG O&T. The ICG O&T book of work has programs and projects that are executed on an annual basis driving Citi’s Mission to Be the Best for Our Clients. The OPMO works across all the ICG O&T lines of business to ensure the book of work is executed in an efficient, effective, and controlled manner. The team is responsible for a wide range of activities including but not limited to Governance, Program Management & Oversight, PM related Training and Reporting – all done in partnership with the ICG O&T lines of business. The ICG O&T OPMO has an opening for a Cross Sector Dependency Management Lead. The candidate will be part of the Book of Work Oversight team within the ICG O&T OPMO.
The purpose of the Cross Sector Dependency Management process is to ensure there is a sustainable process and tools to identify, validate, link, track and report on dependencies that exist with our sector and function partners. The candidate will be responsible for creation and implementation of the Cross Sector Dependency Management framework. The framework must clearly define and document all required activities to properly identify, record and manage cross sector dependencies. The role will partner heavily with the ICG O&T lines of business and respective sector and function partners, as well as with the larger OPMO team. The role will requires experience in creating and implementing new business processes as well as a thorough knowledge of Project Management and Dependency Management fundamentals.
The ICG O&T Program Mgmt Lead role will be responsible for creation and implementation of the Cross Sector Dependency Management framework. The framework will clearly define and document all required activities to properly identify, record and manage cross sector dependencies across ICG O&T
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the development and implementation of the Cross Sector Dependency Management process
• Represent the ICG O&T OPMO on cross sector dependency related matters and interface effectively with the ICG O&T lines of business, sector and function partners, and tools team
• Drive adherence to the Cross Sector Dependency Management standards
• Actively promote and solicit support for better management of cross sector dependencies across the ICG O&T lines of business
• Analyze reports to identify trends, patterns, and issues related to the management of cross sector dependencies and present findings and recommendations to the Business Unit Management Office and L2 PMOs
• Provide cross sector dependency reporting and informational updates to OPMO management
• Collaborate with the Business Unit Management Office and L2 PMOs on cross sector dependency matters and promote an environment conducive to information exchange
• Continuously assess the Cross Sector Dependency Management process and introduce improvements and best practices, as needed
• Support other ICG O&T OPMO functions and special projects, as needed
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of work experience in Project Management with proven success in project execution
• Experience in developing and implementing new business processes
• Experience working with cross functional teams and senior executive management
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; being able to analyze data, draw conclusions, identify trends and issues, and diagnose root cause of issues
• Strong leadership; must lead change transformation and influence others to act in support of change
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high-quality results
Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
