Document Master Central (DMC) is firm’s strategic contract data platform used by the Institutional Clients Group(ICG) in Citi. Composed of both vendor solutions and internally built modules, it supports all stages of the legal contract lifecycle. Application uses AI capabilities to read the document and extract out terms using NLP.
The successful applicant would take ownership of key projects and components and would be responsible for all phases of the SDLC including: analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. In addition, candidate would also be responsible for resolution of production issues as well as on-going enhancements to existing applications. This role is based in Tampa, FL.
Technology:
• Sound knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Scala, Python
• Thorough understanding of usage of the fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes , OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, Web services, Java Design Patterns
• Sound knowledge on IDEs like Intellij Idea along with understanding of GIT(Bit Bucket) & Teamcity/Jenkins are desired
• Knowledge on following is desirable Docker, Openshift, & Kubernetes
• Exposure and understanding of an industry-standard databases -  Oracle, Mongo & S3.
Responsibilities:
• Take ownership for delivering the development task assigned
• Ensure delivery within tight timelines and meeting the team’s expectation
• Get involved in the entire lifecycle of the development project
• Understand the requirement from Lead and ensure quality deliverables
• Ensure quality and optimized coding with proper documentation
• Develop unit test plan and perform unit testing and provide continuously improved product experience
• Assist Project Lead in coordinating with business analysts and user communities to define requirements
• Participate in the technical design
• Together with the team contribute to innovative and best-in-class solutions for our business

Knowledge/Experience:
•  1 - 3 years hands on experience in pure technical roles in development of various software applications
• Knowledge on Machine Learning & NLP is plus
