This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Passionate about building an innovative culture
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in software development using Java and J2EE technologies
• Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL or other Database technologies including query optimization
• Preferred experience with Enterprise Application Servers such as WebSphere/Tomcat
• Preferred experience working with source code management (GIT) and application build tools (Maven, Gradle).  Cloud is a plus.
• Preferred experience working in an Agile environment practicing core Agile principles
• Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques utilizing programming skills and contribute to the technical code base including any required documentation.
• Experience with the Financial/Payment Processing Services industry and/or high volume transaction processing is a plus.
