Full Job Description Green River Spirits Company, founded in 2008, is headquartered in North Charleston, SC and specializes in the production of distilled spirits. We have 4 distinct business pillars: Private Label, Private Brand, Managed Brand and Bulk Sales. Through our Private Label pillar we develop premium spirits brands, leveraging our 50+ years of global brand creation to develop beautifully crafted products for leading retail chains’ private label agenda. Our Private Brand pillar is a dedicated division designed to support brand owners in bringing their visions to life. We are proud partners with some of the fastest growing brands in the U.S., providing award winning spirits + world class logistics support for supplier companies big and small. We have a stellar portfolio of our own managed brands in the KY market as the jewels of our crowing achievements. We also sell bulk bourbon and rye whiskey in barrels, tankers & totes to global spirits companies and U.S. craft distilleries to supplement their production needs.
Additionally, Green River Spirits owns and operates the historic Green River Distilling Company in Owensboro, KY. Fully renovated in 2016, the distillery is the 10th permitted distillery in the state and the 4thlargest independent bourbon distillery in the US. Originally founded in 1885 our distillery has a storied bourbon lineage. We are a heritage member of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Our Master Distiller is Jacob Call, a Seventh-generation Kentuckian and 3rdgeneration Master Distiller. He oversees all aspects of whiskey production and warehousing.
Job Description: Senior Brand Manager

Position Overview: This position will manage the Green River Spirits Company portfolio of brands by driving development of marketing material and brand support initiatives. This position is responsible for promotional material, event marketing, public relations, digital and social media, concept and packaging design, advertising and trade support by collaborating with a team of passionate spirits industry experts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support the Director of Marketing and Innovation in the development and implementation of annual brand planning for driving sustainable, long-term growth while delivering under budget and on strategy.
• Own and develop creative, disruptive campaigns increase engagement, provide compelling partner interest and drive volume.
• Drive execution of in market programming, including supporting the brands at events, promotional activities, and internal meetings.
• Create and present selling materials that provide a compelling rationale for support initiatives.
• Development and support of the Green River Distilling Company long term brand portfolio strategy
• Create, art direct, and procure marketing materials and graphics for special events, product launches, sales materials package design
• Assist with corporate and sales presentations (organization and visuals).
• Maintain digital marketing media content calendar including corporate website, advertising and SEO
• Develop and manage digital and social channels for Green River Spirits Portfolio brands
• Develop and maintain cause marketing partnerships and initiatives
• Develop and maintain relationships with brand influencers and license owners
• Perform market research and monitor spirits formula and packaging trends.
• Attend various industry events as needed for product exposures and customer or distributor support.
• Develop and maintain relevant agency relationships by vetting, selecting and managing relationships to facilitate efficient and cost-saving driven outcomes.
• Receive, vet, and organize marketing opportunities and communicate findings to leadership team.
• Assist with quarterly category update for organization.
• Your Direct Report: The Manger of Visitor Experience – responsible for distillery tour center staff, sales, events, marketing and promotion

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced brand-centric agency or consumer goods company
• Experience with a lifestyle/culture-oriented brand is a plus.
• Spirits industry experience is a must.
• Creative: Fresh ideas on how to inspire and excite the Green River audience through promotional programs, creative assets, and partnerships.
