As the Sr Sales Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for generating new business sales by telephone for our Accelerated Title product. You are responsible for aggressively prospecting, presenting and closing franchise and independent dealership accounts, selling a new-to-market product line offered exclusively by Dealertrack. Flexibility, creativity and the ability to function at a high level in a rapidly changing environment are essential to success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual budget expectations.
• Conduct daily outbound calls to cold and warm prospects.
• Maintain a high sales cadence to maximize client interactions.
• Proactively target and market to decision makers within the dealership via phone.
• Target prospective accounts, provide online product demonstrations, and close sales from an inside sales environment.
• Must be able to effectively present and close sales in a remote environment, including formalizing contracts and negotiating price points, when necessary.
• Work with additional teams to cross-sell products to Franchise and Independent accounts (additional products may be added to the product offering at management’s discretion).
• Utilize Salesforce and other provided tools to accurately and effectively track activity and to update lead opportunities and account information.
• Conduct follow up training for customers, as needed.
• Attend various company events relating to sales (Limited travel)
• HS Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experienc.
• 5 years related experience in inside sales or telemarketing with a track record of success
• Auto dealership experience is beneficial but not critical.
• Ability to quickly develop strong relationships over the phone is a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
• Strong knowledge and experience with business software applications including MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel) and virtual demonstration software and communication tools.
• Limited travel will be required for sales meetings or occasional training
