The lab is a translational lab developing novel individualized immunotherapy for patients with breast cancer. Position Highlights: The Research Associate III assumes the responsibility of performing and directing basic biological research within the specified research program Ideal Candidate: Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong desire to learn Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Responsibilities: Manage, process and analyze research samples (tumor tissues, blood and apheresis) from clinical trials Maintain appropriate records Assist in maintaining supplies for the lab and other lab chores Responsible fo performing a variety of# laboratory experiments and assays as well as assisting in the development and testing of new laboratory procedures under appropriate supervision Assist other lab members as needed Contribute to writing of SOPs and manuscripts Present data at lab meetings Credentials and Qualifications: Minimum Master#s Degree with post-graduate-level training in medicine, basic or biological sciences, mathematics, statistics, public health, behavioral or social science is required. Advanced degree Post-graduate and hands on experience is required. Ability to work independently is required. Hands-on research experience is required.
