Position Highlights: The Planning and Program Manager is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and professional duties in connection with the development of conceptual space plans, to support capital project construction and related operational activities for the division of Space Planning # Programming. This person will possess a high level of abstract reasoning, flexible thinking, creativity, judgment, and logical problem solving skills. The ability to have great attention to detail while still maintaining a big picture orientation is crucial. This person will work directly with the leadership team in Planning, Design, and Construction along with other leaders within the organization in relation to facilities improvements, and space utilization. # This position will participate in the execution of all Campus Master Space Plans in regards to, new construction and remodeling of existing space. The ability to create and present views into the overall plans, vision and targeted projects to Senior Leadership and Stakeholders is imperative. Building relationships and connecting with all levels of the organization is key to better understand current and future needs. # This role will determine space requirements, conduct field verifications and prepare test fit plans with furniture layout options that align with the Campus Master Plans and other requests as assigned. This role will coordinate with other planning team members to better understand campus-wide space utilization and physical facilities, maintain current floor plans and data on campus facilities, receive and analyze requests for space, develop plans to maximize facility use, make space allocation recommendations. # The Ideal Candidate: Auto CAD/Revit experience Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints Experience with regulatory compliance such as Fire Marshal, Code Enforcement, ADA, AHCA, CMS, The Joint Commission. Must have advanced knowledge of all building construction as well as all fire and safety codes Ability to evaluate and independently summarize needs and key information along with creation sketches, and/or test fits. Experience conducting long term planning and programming. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as ability to facilitate a team to defined outcomes in a timely manner. Lead decision making process with fiscal accountability and responsibility; while making independent decisions on solving problems creatively. Responsibilities: This role will determine space requirements, conduct architectural field verifications and prepare test fit plans with furniture layout options that#align with Campus Master Plan. This role will plan and coordinate campus-wide space utilization and physical facilities, maintain current floor plans and data on campus facilities, receive and analyze requests for space, develop plans to maximize facility use, make space allocation recommendations. Supports the design process by interpreting and providing feedback on master plans, predesigns, construction drawings, and sketches Moves Project Management by ensuring all relocations and renovations conform to the Campus Master Plan and Backfill Plan Institutional Compliance by ensuring organizational standards are adhered to on all projects Credentials and Qualifications: Bachelor#s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field required A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in conceptual space planning through implementation in healthcare, research lab, administrative and/or large campus facilities is required. 3 Years# experience (may be inclusive of other experience) of project management and leading teams to recommendations and solutions is required. Experience with regulatory compliance such as Fire Marshal, Code Enforcement, ADA, AHCA, CMS, The Joint Commission. Must have advanced knowledge of all building construction as well as all fire and safety codes. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints # Preferred: Auto CAD/Revit experience Master#s degree - Architecture, Business, Construction, or Healthcare related field Licensed Architect AIA Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement Certification Experience with regulatory compliance such as Fire Marshal, Code Enforcement, ADA, AHCA, CMS, The Joint Commission. Must have advanced knowledge of all building construction as well as all fire and safety codes.
