PERFORMANCE MANAGER BUSINESS OFC Business & Information Technology Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: EX E28 - 26.3000 - 33.0500
Position Highlights: The Performance Manager is responsible for providing leadership in quality assurance, productivity, training, and daily operations of specialized areas within the Business Office. The position will oversee the team members who specialize in Secondary Business Office (SBO) functions, bad debt, bankruptcy, probate, complex estimates, and charity, and is responsible for analysis and strategic design of processes in order to improve epartment#s performance. The Performance Manager serves as a resource and provides support to supervisors and their team members to ensure the Business Office and Patient Account Resolution meet or exceed departmental and organizational goals through ongoing staff education and training. The position will play an active role in the supervisory functions of hiring, evaluating, coaching and counseling staff. # #The Ideal Candidate will have: Preferred - Experience performing quality assurance reviews and training. Experience with data analysis and quality evaluation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Responsibilities: Manage team members who perform specialized roles within the Business Office. Hires, coaches, counsels and provides performance evaluations of the team members. Collaboration with other departments within the Revenue Cycle on business related issues. Training and Education. Ensure both Patient Account Resolution and Business Office teams maintain a daily focus on attaining productivity and quality standards, recommending new approaches for enhancing performance. Reviewing and auditing staff work on a regular basis. ########################## Credentials and Qualifications: Bachelor#s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Business, Finance or other relevant discipline. Candidates with a bachelor#s degree must have at least a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in healthcare. * In lieu of a bachelor#s degree, High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of ten (10) years related healthcare experience, with a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in healthcare, preferably within Revenue Cycle will be considered.*
