Description
We are seeking a professional Nutrition Assistant that loves to work with patients. Must have a Bachelor's degree in the field of science or be working toward a degree. This includes, but is not limited to, nutrition, dietetics, exercise sciences, health sciences, etc.
Your role is to assist the Nutrition Coordinator with providing nutrition support for our patients and creating solutions for their needs. Primarily responsible for assisting with explaining nutrition plans and programs that Age Rejuvenation offers. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to develop a patient relationship. Work consists on the phone, email, text, and face to face.
Must be able to travel between our four clinic locations as requested for training. Must also be willing to work varied hours between 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM as needed. Please check out our website at https://www.agerejuvenation.com/ to see services provided.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, have reliable transportation, and provide references.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or working toward degree required, preferred in the field of science. This includes, but is not limited to, nutrition, dietetics, exercise sciences, health sciences, etc.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft office and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral - experience with face to face patient interaction is preferred.
• Must possess an ability to work independently as well as with a team to accomplish goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a high stress environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Able to demonstrate experience and prove ability to learn medical terminology.
Salary: $12.50/hour
General Schedule: M-W 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM, R-F 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
