Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Director of Patient Experience to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care.
Overview
Coordinate the provision of hospice psychosocial services including social work, pastoral care, music therapy, volunteer, and bereavement services. Supervise the psychosocial program, ensure staffing, and maintain the integration of psychosocial services as part of the hospice and palliative care program’s interdisciplinary team approach. This leadership position is responsible for directing and supervising Supportive Care services in cooperation with the Administrator and the Director, Clinical Operations.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Music Therapy, or Divinity from an accredited university or college;
certified, registered, or licensed in appropriate discipline as required by the state.
Minimum five years’ professional experience; minimum 2 years end-of-life care experience; minimum 2
years of supervisory or program development experience in end-of-life care.
Good organizational and administrative talents and computer literate.
Ability to supervise staff from a variety of psychosocial disciplines including: social workers, chaplains,
music therapists, volunteer directors, and bereavement coordinators.
Excellent problem solving, triaging, teaching, communication, and listening skills.
Must have reliable automobile, valid driver’s license and the minimum state required liability auto
insurance.
