Job Description
Direct Support Professional / Certified Nursing Assistant for 5 Star Residential Care - Chesapeake, VA
CNA Needed For Group Home. All shifts needed!!
5 Star Residential Care provides 24 Hour support in a group home setting - 1 to 4 ratio staff to patients. The home is located in the Hickory area of Chesapeake. We are looking for experienced and motivated professionals to join our growing team.
The following briefly describes the of type of employees we seek:
* Must love working with people .
* Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance .
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check .
* Must be able to pass a CPS Background screening .
* Must possess excellent documentation skills .
* Must be willing to help individuals with activities of daily living to include: daily hygiene, feeding, exercise, etc.
* Must have previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or as a Direct Support Professional
* First-Aid and CPR certified.
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness is preferred
* Demonstrated skills in the use of standard medical equipment (Bedside commodes, wheel chairs, shower chairs etc.)
Salary is determined by experience and training/certifications
Individuals that have verifiable documentation for T.O.V.A training, Medication management certification and First-Aid CPR will have first consideration . Others must be willing to complete training in the required time frame.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
