Clinical Registered Nurse II - PACU Ambulatory Surgery
The Clinical Nurse II - Procedural independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Required Experience includes 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
Strongly prefer 1 year RN experience in PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department. Prefer both Pedi and Adult Clinical Experience. ACLS and PALS required. No weekends except one Saturday a year for inventory.
This is a part time position working four shifts of 6 hours 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
