Responsibilities:
MRI / CT Technologist
The MRI Technologist will:
• Perform diagnostic examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care
• Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments
• Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice
• Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter- and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
Qualifications:
MRI / CT Technologist
Qualified candidates will have:
• Radiological experience, preferably in the areas of MRI, CT procedures is preferred;
• ARRT Certification RT (R), ARRT RT (MR)(CT) a plus.
• Working knowledge of applicable MRI/CT scan technology is required
• CPR certification is required
• State Licensure required for CT
• IV skills required.
Education
• Completion of an accredited ARRT program and at least 1 year MRI/CT experience.
• Advanced modality certification is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities
• Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
