Brandon Regional Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist on a PRN/per diem basis to primarily cover evening and call shifts on both weekdays and weekends.  The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Tech) performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures and laboriatory duties utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.

Associate Degree
•
Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification
• Clear/Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 (two) to 4 (four) years of vocational preparation
• Minimum of 1 (one) year recent imaging experience in an acute-care setting preferred
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
• Lifting 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of patients/objects/equipment weighing up to 25 lbs
