POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time fellowship training opportunity in the Department of Neurosurgery & Brain Repair with an emphasis on neuropsychology.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in a 2-year fellowship focused towards clinical, research, and academic training in the Division of Neuropsychology.  Clinical opportunities will include the ambulatory/outpatient setting at the USF Health South Tampa Center location as well as the inpatient rehabilitation setting at the Advent Health -Tampa Hospital.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Research
Clinical research - champion the collaborative opportunities across the NSI, which include epilesy, stroke, movement disorders, and Alzheimer's research.
Teaching
Provide didatic and benchside teaching of undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Provide Departmental or college-wide seminars.
Administrative
Complete clinical obligations such as chart completion, patient follow-up, finalize billing, etc..
Clinical
Outpatient practice/clinic 3-4 days/week.  This would include an AM/PM sessions at STC or the NSI.
Inpatient 1-2 days/week at Advent Health - Tampa Rehabilitation Unit evaluating patients.  More specifically, treatment of patients with injury to, or diseases/disorders of the brain, spinal cord and spinal column, and peripheral nerves.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful candidates must have a PhD and a Florida medical license or eligibility is required after Year 1.
