Job Description
We are looking for an optometric assistant to provide high quality care while moving patients smoothly through their visits. The right candidate will be trained to perform paraprofessional tasks and procedures in the clinic, front desk and optical departments.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Management of work flow to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Prepare patients for examination by reviewing medical history, performing preliminary tests and other clinical tasks as required
• Educate patients on insertion, removal and proper care of contact lenses
• Help maintain a well-organized and efficient clinical environment
• Assist front desk with phone calls and other clerical tasks as needed
