Covid Testing for Minute Clinic at Client lcoations. 3 wkdays and every other wknd, M-F 10 hrs Sat 8 hrs Sun 7 hrs; Avg 38 hr per week (If you can travel to more than one Client location you can get up to 38-40 hours) The RN will conduct all activities related to screening patients for COVID19: patient registration in EPIC EMR, insurance verification, point of care test specimen collection/processing, notifying patient of results, educate patient on appropriate next steps based on test results. Additional responsibilities include maintaining infection control and lab processing requirements. Testing location will be based at *** locations both inside and outside the store. Required PPE will be available as appropriate. Role requires candidates to screen in patients in a fast-paced environment. Although the role is assigned to one particular location, travel may be required to nearby locations based on screening needs. Contract extension may be possible on a case-by-case basis depending on location and community testing needs. Training and orientation will be provided prior to start.
Position Summary:
The Client Nurse Practitioner delivers defined patient care services in a retail clinic environment. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above. Care is documented via computerized electronic health record. This position reports directly to the Senior Practice Manager.Client is a division of ***. Experience:
Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivilant. Completed accredited DOT certificate training program prior to start date. Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility. Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
Education:
Completion of a: Masters Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role required.Or, in select states, Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Masters Degree in conjunction with Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role required.
