Job Description
START IMMEDIATELY! BrightStar Care of Tampa & Sun City is currently hiring experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide home healthcare to clients in Hillsborough and Pasco County. The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following responsibilities: assisting daily living activities, companionship, direct hands-on supervision, transportation, meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, hygiene care activities, transfers, and other duties as assigned. Position Status:
• PRN (Per Diem) W2
• Full-time & Part-time
• Days, nights, and weekends shifts available

Requirements:
• Minimum one (1) year of documented health care/home health experience
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Florida or Home Health Aide (HHA) credentials
• Current Certified CPR
• TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Current AHCA Level II background screening
• Reliable car, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be eligible to work in the USA
• Must be able to use mobile smartphone to clock in and out and document care notes
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform varied physical assistance to include bed care & transfers
Responsibilities:
• Care for individual based on personalized “Plan of Care”
• Inform the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs
• Counsel client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis
• Assure proper maintenance of clinical records, maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow protocols set forth by our agency in compliance with local, state, and federal laws

Job Requirements
• Providing restorative nursing care to residents
• Provide quality nursing care to residents
• Report the vital signs of residents
• Take and record patient vital signs
• Performing basic nursing care procedures for residents
• Obtain patient vital signs and assist with patient toileting needs
• Provide patients with good patient care
• Report vital signs and weights on residents
• Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursing care procedures
• Obtaining and recording vital signs for residents
• Perform basic patient care activities
• Take vital signs and changes bed
• Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursing care procedures
• Provide the residents with routine daily care
• Provide basic nursing assistance and assist residents with daily living activities
• Evaluate nursing care on assigned resident
• Record vital signs and intake/output
• Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing and feeding
• Provide resident with exceptional activity of daily living care to include vital signs, feeding, toileting, bathing, and oral care
• Provide resident with exceptional activity of daily living care to include vital signs, feeding, toileting, bathing and oral care
