Brandon Regional Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed CT Technologist (CT Tech) on a full-time basis in our Cat Scan Department.  The schedule for this CT Technologist opportunity includes 12-hour shifts.  Rotating overnight or 24-hour call is assigned as needed and there are opportunities to pick up additional shifts at our FSED locations (Lakeland, Plant City, Riverview, Temple Terrace, and Wesley Chapel) and/or the main hospital.  Must be proficient in both CT and X-ray.  ARRT (R) ARRT (CT) and BLS required.
The CT Technologist provides computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians and will be competent in all of the following:  brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, biopsies.

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• Current Florida CRT license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
