Cumedica Doctors Center is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant that will be responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records , preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams.
Job Responsibilities
- Updating and filing patient medical records
- Taking medical histories
- Coding and filling out insurance forms
- Preparing patients for examination
- Handling correspondence
- Billing (not required but will be a plus)
Required Skills and Experience
- Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Previous experience as a medical assistant
- Experience in updating and filing patient medical records and taking medical histories
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be willing to work in clinical office in Tampa, FL
- Able to work part-time or full-time
Salary expectations
$13-17/hour (depending on experience)
