Job Description
Immediate need for an experienced 48' flatbed driver - needs to be experienced in hauling steel, which includes tie down, chaining and strapping a secure load. Schedule is Monday thru Friday all within State of Florida day time schedule. Other specific requirements include:
Pre trip & post trip inspections of truck and trailer as required by DOT and must be able to do log books or computer logs as required
Physical aspects of job include walking briskly, climbing, squatting, Kneeling, balancing on top of loaded trailer and be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Florida CDL, Class A, Current Medical Card.
Must provide good reference check information for verification purposes.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of comparable commercial driving experience.
DOT drug screening required and participation in a random drug testing program
Qualifications
Must have flatbed experience and be able to tie down, strap, chain and secure a load of steel in all shapes and sizes.  Clean MVR is essential.
Must be physically able to work the load and must be able to do log books or computer logs.
Additional Information
Job is hourly at $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience.
