Job Title: Mobile Clinic Driver
Position Type: Contractor
Position Summary:
Mobile Clinic Driver safely transports the Pioneer Medical Foundation medical van to and from clinical sites within Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, and assists during hours of clinic operation in part by witnessing patients sign consent forms. This is a Temporary position (up to 40 hours per week) requiring up to 9 hours per day (8 hours of clinic + travel time).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely transports the medical van without passengers between the parking location in Wesley Chapel to clinical sites in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties for morning and afternoon clinics which operate Monday through Friday, for a maximum of 9 hours per day (8 hours of clinic + travel time);
• Assisting mobile clinic staff with clinic flow
• Witnessing patient signing of a consent form for the Florida Department of Health
• Clean interior of van and remove trash.
• Complete personal departmental paperwork in compliance with Department’s standards to include: When to Work: Sign in/Sign Out log and time sheets. Other related responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum:
• HS Diploma or Equivalent. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Two years of experience driving buses, passenger vans, or a pickup truck sized vehicle, OR, Any equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
• Drivers must complete a one-time two-hour Florida Department of Health training for filling out patient consent and liability forms, which will be coordinated by the mobile clinic team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Three years of experience driving buses, passenger vans, or a pickup truck sized vehicle.
Special Skills/Licenses/Certifications:
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License Class E. No more than 7 points in the last 3 years. No DUI convictions, license revocation or driving on a suspended license.
