Full Job Description THE ROLE
Our REGIONAL CULINARY MANAGER Collaborates with VP of Culinary and helps deliver on both our Food and People missions. With an emphasis on Food Quality, Safety, and Culinary operations, this person also coordinates new store openings as the Lead Culinary Trainer. Leads by example and promotes a strong and positive culture, where our people and food come first. Must lead by example and be an ambassador of our culture, where people and food come first.
THE BIG PICTURE
• Drives our Food First mission, Food Specs, and Quality Standards in the field
• Leads and coordinates NEW STORE OPENING efforts
• Builds trust, influence, and partners with leaders and team members at all levels
THE NITTY GRITTY
NEW STORE OPENINGS (The Primary Focus)
• Supports and leads the management of the NSO timeline and critical path, as well as culinary training efforts, both prior to, and during the opening.
• Partners with Culinary, Regional, and Training Teams to coordinate New Store Opening Efforts
• Leads BOH Training for each NSO, and provide ongoing support and guidance for the first 6-8 weeks.
• Works with the team to ensure all training standards and expectations are met and delivered 100% of the time. (Compliance, Station Validations, Food Safety)
• Helps identify and certify trainers at new locations, prior to departure
• Identifies strengths and follow up opportunities, and effectively communicates with Management and Regional team
THE IN-BETWEENS
• Partners with VP of Culinary and Regional Teams to:
• Offer field support for stores struggling with COGs
• Support New Menu Item Rollouts
• Maintain and Update Zenput (Auditing Tool) Forms
• Conduct 2 BOH Audits and 2 Food Audits annually, per store followed by a coaching session
• Support BOH Training Audits annually per store
• Conduct one FK Health Inspection annually per store followed by a coaching session
• Validate MITs in BOH
• Partners with Training, Culinary, and Operations Departments to identify best practices and needs when it comes to BOH training, food quality and safety, and culinary operations.

PRE-REQs
• Previous Culinary Experience --- Required
• Willing to travel (75% of the time)—Required
• Bi-Lingual —Preferred
• General Manager or Regional Level Experience --- Preferred
• New Restaurant Opening Experience --- Either in operations or training
• Above store training experience
• Knowledgeable of Labor and Food Cost
• Experience coaching and developing other people
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Loves People and is able to make Connections
