JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Executive position is responsible for independently and creatively sourcing qualified leads, prospecting outbound to a global marketplace and offering license opportunities to new accounts within the assigned market. One will be responsible for developing a comprehensive sales plan to meet/exceed established quota; one that includes researching and identifying target customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
• Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing, product management and sales departments.
• Collating and maintaining client information in CRM.
• Improving sales by attracting new clients through cold-calling, emailing, and following company-generated leads.
• Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
• Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
• Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
• Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
• Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
• Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Identify new business opportunities and partners.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
• Responsible for accurately and timely processing all sales activities and orders in the sales database; taking sale from initial interest to order processed through system updates.
• Attention to detail; ensuring that the required documents (quote, contract, addendum, term sheets, etc.) are completed accurately, timely, and all information is transferred to the CRM system.
• Team contributor; assisting other sales members when assistance is needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities for direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or related field and B2B experience in corporate management and complex sales process environment; two plus years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.

TRAVEL:
Up to 50% travel will be required to visit top-tier accounts and tradeshow events within assigned vertical.
