Area Manager - Tampa
Mission:
To drive strong execution across an assigned market and lead teams with a focus on helping our customers achieve profitable sales.
Scope:
The Area Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager and will own accountability for execution across roughly 100-200 Point-of-Sale locations, supervising a team of approximately 8 - 12 Mobile Merchandisers.
Role Expectations:
• Achieve consistent positive results against sales, expense, operational, and talent objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships across customers, including key leadership at store level and one step above
• Provide market intelligence, ensuring beeline is aware market trends, issues, concerns, that may impact the district
• Leads team through clear communication, delivers consistent feedback and manages appropriate consequences (+/-) based on performance
Critical Experiences:
• Experience managing a part-time workforce
• Experience with remote team that utilizes technology to execute primary job duties a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency using a process-driven and regimented approach
• Demonstrated experience working in client-facing environment(s), with multiple and simultaneous customers/partners
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office
Immediate Critical Outcomes:
• Develop rapid cultural understanding and assessment through individual interactions with staff and partners. (First 30 Days)
• Assessment of their people, their market and development a roadmap to successfully close any gaps related to business execution (First 60 Days)
• Execute a workforce recruitment/succession plan for territory’s mobile-merchandiser position, ensuring a fully-staffed and dedicated work team. (First 120 days)
