Utility Operator
Your role :
As Utility Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks throughout the facility. To succeed, you must be able to:

Your responsibilities:
• Qualify in all operations associated with bran packing, palletizer/warehouse forklift, packer-blender, rail Load & unload, bulk loader/blender, wheat elevator, and off-load or load-out of wheat and/or flour cars.
• Sanitation tasks assigned or any other production tasks, projects when directed by Management.
• SCORE and 5S Audits to improve work areas.
• Provide coverage for the entire PLW, Bulk Loading and Blending, Elevator and Sanitation departments as scheduled by Management.
• Perform sample collecting and proper testing of products for quality control programs and customer specifications.
Essential skills and experience:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food, production, manufacturing, warehouse or equivalent
• Demonstrated Safety and/or Food Safety & Quality Champion Behaviors
Good to have :
• 4 or more years’ experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food, production, manufacturing, warehouse or equivalent)
• Food Production experience
Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses, protective footwear, hard hat, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator)
• Work in various environments (heat/cold temperatures, indoors/outdoors, noisy, and dusty
• Frequent standing, walking rotating bending, stooping, lifting varying weights and heights;
• Working in confined or elevated spaces.
Other considerations:
• Must be able to read, interpret instruction and technology and communicate effectively in English
• Must be willing to work alongside your team including long days, on rotating or varying shifts (days, evenings, and nights) as well as overtime, weekend or holiday work.
