Job Title: Strategic/ Business Account Manager
Location: Tampa FL

Summary:
The Strategic Account Manager is the relationship manager, responsible for facilitating growth and retention across a set of healthcare insurance company C-Suite representatives. As a Strategic Account Manager, you act as a representative of the customer to the internal teams and an ambassador to the customer. Required: Interfacing with C-Suite, Payor/Health Insurance business, and HEDIS knowledge.
Essential Functions:
• Builds strong relationships with customer senior leadership, key decisionmakers, and operational stakeholders
• Demonstrate deep understanding of the Payer/Insurance company needs and recommend solutions to corporate executives that help drive business transformation
• Identifies whitespace/cross-selling opportunities
• Establish monthly/quarterly meeting cadence to review account plans, roadmap delivery, contract monitoring, whitespace/cross-selling opportunities, and benchmark delivery
• Monitors and reports on key SLA s using data and outputs provided by other internal team members
• Lead presentations to clients and internal stakeholders; be able to articulate the value of Company s products and services to meet client needs
• Respond to client s concerns and drive resolution using internal relationships and processes
• Facilitates the flow of information through multiple channels
• Ensures the customer roadmap aligns with customer needs
• Creates and presents stewardship reports using inputs from across the organization
• Updates account plans with relevant details
• Monitors contracts to determines renewal opportunities
• Prepares and delivers benchmarking, comparing best practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred
• 6+ years work experience in account management, business development and/or provider relations
• 6+ years healthcare industry experience required, Payer/Insurance Industry preferred
• Knowledge of value-based care, HEDIS, STARS, and risk adjustment experience a plus
• Maintains and applies knowledge of current trends, practices and developments in health care.
• Demonstrated ability and confidence in client-facing interactions
• Display natural curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills in the approach to analytic questions.
• Ability to grasp the client s strategic/growth needs and translate into solutions involving the products
• Ability to communicate complex issues and technical problems clearly
• Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
