What You Will Be Doing Responsible for industrial automation projects from conception to completion, which includes the management, design, programming, startup, and support of systems using PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and data collection/reporting.
Requires proficiency in project organization/management, HMI graphics development (Wonderware, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ignition) and PLC software (Allen Bradley, Siemens). Experience in electrical troubleshooting, motor control systems, database development, networking, and control panel design would also be a plus
You'll spend more time at home/remote programming and developing their projects up to the point of startup commissioning which will require you to go to the jobsites. And during slow times and in between project startups, you could be home/remote working on building up your skills in preparation for the next project. Typically you may be on the road for 2 weeks straight followed by a long weekend home before going back out for another few weeks.
You'll be communicating with the customer to provide an explanation of work being done, as well as answer and/or troubleshoot customers questions
