We a re currently seeking a Transportation Resource to be located in Zephyrhills, FL and report to the Regional Transportation Manager.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage regional deployment team and ensure execution by communicating and working with customer service, transportation, production planning, and warehouse.
• Understand and communicate product availability issues and actions, both short and long term, to customer service, warehouse, and transportation.
• Analyze ordering trends, transportation costs, and production capability to identify optimal order changes based off the variables.
• Support warehouse and transportation by minimizing order generation issues and resolving these issues effectively and minimal cost impact.
• Manage the Master Production Schedule for 3 NWNA factories and all SE co-packing operations.
• Maintain and support master data and regional health checks, ensuring system effectiveness and accuracy.
• Provide leadership in bottom lined decisions for regional ordering and deployment trends and decisions
Additional Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Report any and all accidents or damage to his/her Manager, Supervisor and Safety Cord immediately.
• Handle urgent situations such as the need to recover truck, freight, or driver, traffic, weather conditions or Other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent on-time delivery
• Various systems management (internal and external) to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
• Review orders to ensure shipments are released most optimal way considering weight and cost.
• Supports and reviews dispatching, dock scheduling, appointment scheduling, as well closing out completed shipments daily.
• Provide status updates for customers into TMS (Transportation Management System)
• Ability to create dynamic reporting for key measurable and performance tracking
• Ability to identify process improvements with attention to detail
• Ability to make decisions based on cost and service to best serve the organization
• Data analytics, including communicating key findings to support strategic decision needs
• Ability to work well in teams and work with remote teammates
• Paperwork management (securing necessary paperwork, filing, etc.)
• Knowledge of DOT regulations helpful.
Key qualifications include:
• Background and experience in key functions of Supply Chain.  Including but not limited to Warehousing, Transportation, Reverse Logistics, Returns Management, and Customer Service required.
• High school diploma, GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Exceptional Work Ethic / Dependability
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Work on more than one assignment at a time remaining focused with frequent interruptions, changes and/or delays. Maintain a great attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access), strong Excel skills and SAP experience a plus!
