Full Job Description Local Tampa Bay real estate company seeking a skilled maintenance technician. We are a growing company and are in need of a hard-working, goal-oriented, driven person to join our team. This position is full time Monday-Friday with the possibility of occasional weekend and evening call-ins. The ideal applicant must be able to perform quality repairs within the time frame allotted while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
-Inspect and prepare residential homes for occupancy and sale.
-Perform final a walk through on homes to verify outstanding issues have been completed before sale and move in.
-Report deficiencies to Project/property Manager and follow up on item completion
-Perform touch up painting and minor repairs on rental units and sale homes
-Complete punch out items as directed.
Skills:
-EXCEPTIONAL carpentry and drywall finishing skills a MUST.
-HVAC knowledge/certification is strongly desired.
-Light construction skills required (painting, drywall finishing, carpentry, siding, ETC)
-Changing lights, hanging blinds, replacing outlets and switches.
-Light plumbing and electrical skills.
-Properly maintain and organize tools, supplies, and other company property.
-Good customer service skills, ability to take direction and work well with others, and strong attention to detail is required.
MUST ALSO HAVE CLEAN BACKGROUND AND DRIVING RECORD and be able to pass a drug test.
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lb.
-Must be able to climb ladders and stairs repeatedly throughout the work day
-Must be able to work a minimum of 8 continuous hours in exposed weather conditions.
