SUPERINTENDENT - HEAVY/CIVIL CONSTRUCTION **Hawaii Relocation**

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our growing team on the beautiful island of Kauai, HI.
Relocation assistance to the well-qualified candidate.
This is a highly respected local contractor with a long history in Hawaii. Projects include heavy civil/heavy highway, site work, underground utility.
The Superintendent is the on-site, direct supervisor of field crews.
The Superintendent is also responsible for equipment, logistics, report writing, and client liaison activities in connection with construction projects.
All projects on the island, travel not required.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists with hiring for jobsite needs
• Oversees the coordination of personnel
• Responsible for pre-job planning process
• Coordinates and plans with Clients
• Performs on-site safety meetings and directs work to coincide with all safety requirement
• Maintains schedules of job sites.
Qualifications :
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the public and/or private heavy civil sector.
• Knowledgeable of heavy civil construction current practices and regulations
• Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving
• Ability to effectively mentor the professional development of field management
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results
