As a Sr. Supplier Manager (Operations) within Citi’s Resource Management Organization (RMO) Sourcing function, you will become a member of a high-performing team that identifies and leads complex, cross-functional strategic Supplier Management initiatives across Citi. You will work predominantly with the cross sector/cross functional personnel as well as third party senior leadership provide strategic supplier management support, manage supplier/parent level risk and compliance, identify optimization opportunities, and build and execute resource & location strategies with them.
The focus of this role will be in the Business Process Operations space as well as identifying other categories in which RMO Supplier Management can make a positive impact

The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading complex sourcing and supplier management initiatives and negotiating contracts across non-tech and tech products including business operations, business application software and related services in a complex multinational organization. The successful candidate will have robust skills and experience formulating, syndicating and executing supplier management strategies within and across business areas. The successful candidate must have significant experience in managing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) suppliers
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Establish strong relationships with internal business stakeholders, build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned suppliers and/or spend categories.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier management and risk and compliance of select third parties, ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the process.
• Develop, implement and manage robust market analyses / benchmarking processes; leverage key insights to inform and support the category strategy process.
• Develop, lead and/or manage a robust portfolio of initiatives for assigned categories across the supplier management and risk areas, including and not limit to:
• establishment of the cross-functional project team,
• drive enterprise/parent level management of suppliers
• development of the requirements and spend baseline,
• performance or market research / analysis,
• formulation of the supplier management strategy,
• support the development of the RFx materials,
• Manage key supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost.
• Build, syndicate and execute supplier management strategies designed to optimize Citi’s use of third parties
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of previous Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracting and/or Business-related experience; significant experience required in the sourcing of business application software, business operations and other services.
• Knowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g. eRFx, eAuction, P2P)
• Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization
• Robust financial services industry experience; significant experience working at a Wall St bank is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading large, complex sourcing and/or contracting initiatives
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong financial modeling and deal structuring skills
• Takes initiative and has the ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives
• Aptitude for innovation
• High integrity and ethics
