Collateralized debt obligations (CDO) and CLOs are forms of securitization where debt and equity investments are issued to investors with the proceeds of the issuance being used to purchase a pool of collateral assets. Typical types of collateral include syndicated bank loans, middle market bank loans, commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) and residential mortgage backed securities (RMBS). Key Responsibilities: + Perform data analysison large asset portfolios including data reconciliation and calculation ofportfolio compliance tests such as overcollateralization ratios, weightedaverage spread, weighted average life and other portfolio quality andconcentration ratios + Ensure compliance ofCDO transactions by accurately comprehending and interpreting complex legaldocuments + Model portfoliocompliance tests and reporting requirements as defined by CDO governingdocuments onto a variety of in-house systems + Compile monthly andquarterly investor reports, analyze hypothetical trade results and work closelywith portfolio managers on comparing key portfolio information and statistics + Calculate andcoordinate payment date auditing process with accountants, prepare priority ofpayment calculations (waterfalls) and distribution amounts to CDO noteholders + Interactwith CDO portfolio managers, investors, rating agencies, investment banks,auditors and other industry participants **Qualifications:** **BasicQualifications** + Bachelor's degree inbusiness, accounting, finance, economics or equivalent experience + One or more years ofreporting experience in finance or related industries **PreferredSkills/Experience** + Demonstrate stronganalytical skills and attention to detail + Must be able to takeinitiative and ownership of responsibilities and act with sense of urgency todeliver relentless and remarkable client service + Excellentinterpersonal, verbal and written communication skills + Advanced knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel and other Office products + Ability to learn andunderstand complex concepts, respond quickly to critical business needs,prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting demanding deadlines andthrive in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision + Experience working withor knowledge of fixed income securities, asset-backed securities, CDO/CLOs andsyndicated bank loans is preferred **Job:** Accounting / Finance **Primary Location:** United States **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 200021981 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
