Job Description
?Ledgent is currently hiring for a Corporate Accountant in Tampa, FL. Our ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience providing direct support to a Corporate Accounting Manager or Controller. In addition to assisting in all daily and monthly accounting functions, this person will also review and analyze financial data for multiple locations, perform monthly reconciliations and prepare financial reports
Responsibilities
• Analyze General Ledger accounts for completeness/accuracy.
• Maintain accruals, prepaid, and depreciation schedules.
• Work with team on month-end closing and preparing financial statements.
• Prepares general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with review of AP postings for PPD's, accruals, and setup recurring JE's as needed
• Analyzing information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Corporate Controller (i.e., bonus calculations, budget drafts)
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent organizational skill and interpersonal communication.
• Advanced Excel
• Ability to work in fast-paced atmosphere
