What you’ll be doing...
In this role, you will support Program Management and Data Analytics for multiple technical programs related to wireless network construction, fiber optic network construction, and data integrity efforts. This will include being an overall Project Manager of a network evolution that replaces lit Ethernet Services with a Dark Fiber solution as well as compiling data and using it to true-up data systems, produce reports and dashboards that will be used to track progress and manage resources on multiple initiatives.
• Work on projects with a broad scope, involving multiple systems and cross discipline teams.
• Track and manage project risks and issues, including identifying impact and resolution plan.
• Responsible for delivering.
• Own and take responsibility for all stakeholders to ensure work quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
• A degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Three or more years in a business analyst and/or Project Manager Role, with experience analyzing and solving business problems through compilation and presentation of data.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network construction: Fiber Construction, Routers, Switches, Optics, WDM technologies.
• Analytical, decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Project management skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Experience with dynamic projects with changing scopes and timelines.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, including meeting facilitation and relationship management.
• Experience with reporting tools.
• Ability to create automated reporting tools using custom SQL functions.
• Strong with Excel/Google Sheets (Vlookup, pivot tables, defined name ranges, IF/While functions).
• Router Configuration/CCNA level.
• Tableau experience.
• Creating clean dashboard visualizations with clean data.
• VBA scripting or Google App Script (JavaScript) experience.
• Python and NumPy and Pandas experience.
• Experience with Granite, Site Tracker, SPM, PeopleSoft, and mapping tools.
