Full Job Description We could fill this first paragraph with all kinds of fluff and catchphrases to try and get you to drop your resume, but honestly, we wouldn't be doing either of us a favor. If you don't understand the job posting while reading it, we probably don't either.
Our company, Atlantic Training, is all about real people offering real solutions to companies in need. We don't have: a board to appease, nor are we owned by some random investment group whose portfolio includes us and a chain of coffee houses.
Although we have been around since 2005, we are very much still a startup. Over the past few years, we have transitioned from a tangible training media e-store to an amazing software/digital media company. Last year we had over 70% growth with our core training solution, SafetySoft. This should have been much higher, but we didn't have you!
The objective of this job posting is to find a Brand Manager to help build out our product and message to Fortune 500 companies throughout the US.
This is a real chance to make a difference in a company. Although our web presence is already well established, there is plenty of room for you to make your mark with SafetySoft. So what will you be doing?
Daily Deeds...
• Strategy : Develop a deep understanding of our target B2B markets implementing content and video-based strategies illustrating the quality of our products. We believe we have some of the best quality products in our industry and need your help getting that message to the market.
• Producer : Working with and developing teams to produce video-based products and marketing materials.
• Communications : Work with in-house developers and graphics designers to develop brand messages across social media ads, Linked In, and websites.
• Organization : Conduct a marketing inventory of current assets and develop 'pillar cluster' concepts emphasizing features. (basically tying low tier marketing efforts into a bigger picture)
• Project Management : since you will be developing products and messaging, you will need to communicate between various departments and source contractors to deliver your message. Plan to work with contractors for copywriting, video editors, web developers, etc.
