Our IT Departmnet is searching for a Radiology Applications Analyst to join our team!
Responsibilities
Position Summary: The Radiology Applications Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, validation, and support of multiple Radiology applications (RIS, Radiology PACS, Voice Recognition, Advanced Post Processing, RadOnc EMR, and related ancillary systems). The Radiology Applications Analyst ensures the design, configuration, integration, and user experience of these imaging applications, meets business and clinical objectives. The Radiology Applications Analyst consults with organizational clinicians, staff, and vendors of the imaging applications and is responsible for the configuration, testing, problem identification, issue resolution, and on-going support of the assigned applications including new implementations and upgrades.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a clinical science preferred or equivalent experience and an associate degree. Certification in either RT or CNMT
2. Two to three years’ experience in the Radiology Department with emphasis on voice recognition and PACS Technology.
3. Previous Experience :
• Experience as a Radiology Analyst or Radiation Oncology Analyst preferred.
• 4-7 years: Successful analytical experience within a complex healthcare environment and demonstrated IT success within field of expertise.
• At least 1-year experience with design, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, testing, and supporting clinical imaging applications (i.e., EMR,RIS, PACS, voice recognition system (MModal or PowerScribe 360), RadOnc EMR) or the equivalent combination of experience and education that would demonstrate the capability to successfully perform duties.
• Experience with Electronic Medical/Health Record (EMR or EHR) Systems and interfacing is a plus (HL-7)
• Experience with understanding databases is a plus. Programming and database scripting/querying experience is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of network hardware and network routing
• Proficient knowledge of Windows Server environments including Active Directory and Exchange
